A compact ornamental grass forming neat mounds of fine steel-blue foliage that provides cool contrast in garden beds. Care & Maintenance
Festuca glauca is compact, hardy and very easy to maintain.
• It thrives in full sun where the blue foliage colour develops most strongly.
• Remove old foliage and spent flower stems in late winter to maintain a tidy mound.
• Light trimming is usually sufficient rather than hard cutting back.
• Avoid heavy or poorly drained soils to prevent root rot.
