A low-growing, mat-forming perennial with tiny, narrow, intensely silvery-grey leaves. In early summer, the entire mat is completely obscured by a solid, breathtaking, snowy-white sheet of star-shaped flowers.

Well-drained, poor, sandy, or rocky gravelly soil.

Full sun is essential for the brightest silver colour and dense bloom.
