A gorgeous, ultra-compact dwarf deciduous shrub with a neat, densely packed rounded habit. Features rich purple-burgundy to deep plum-maroon foliage from spring onwards, which deepens to brilliant crimson-red tones in autumn before dropping. Stems feature defensive spines.
